BEFORE YOUR 

SPRAY TAN

 

  • Use a non oily exfoliating scrub such as brown sugar or sea-salt the day before your appointment.

 

  • Do not use exfoliants with oil on the day of your appointment. 

 

  • Shave or wax  24 hours+ prior to your appointment.

 

  • Manicure and/or pedicure must be done prior to spray tan appointment.

 

  • Make up must be removed if you want to spray your face.

 

  • Do not moisturize prior to your appointment.

 

  • Do not apply Deodorant or perfume prior to your appointment.

 

  • Do not apply anything on your skin that might prevent the product from absorbing.

 

  • Wear dark colored undergarments to be sprayed in. Women may spray with or without undergarments,   men must wear shorts/underwear.

 

  • Do not use Dove brand products before or after your spray tan.

 

  • If you spray tanned 7 days or more before your appointment, you should remove your old tan before your next spray tan.

 

  • Wear Dark, loose, non strapy clothing and flip flops the day of your appointment or bring a change or clothes that meets this criteria.

 

 

SPRAY TAN APPOINTMENT

 

  • Your spray tan artist will create a Solution custom blended and specially designed for your skin tone and type.

 

  • Women may spray tan nude, men must wear underwear or shorts.

 

  • Spray Tan Application process will take approximately  15 minutes. Your skin should be dry before putting your clothes back on and you should not sweat excessively for 24 hours.

 

  • The solution will give you an immediate bronzing effect, a result of a temporary cosmetic bronzer in the solution that will remain on the skin until your first shower.

 

  • Premium Spray Tan Solution: the cosmetic bronzer will come off to reveal your sunless DHA tan after showering.

 

  • Premium Express Spray Tan Solution: the tan will be very light (or no tan will be present) and will develop in approximately 12 hours after application.

 

  • With both solutions (Premium and Premium Express) The Spray Tan will continue to develop for up to 24 hours unless you take a shower with soap.

 

  • Your spray tan artist will give you specific instructions the day of your appointment in regards to shower times depending on your desired results.

 

  • The spray tan solution may stain some fabrics so we recommend that you wear dark loose fitting clothes and put a towel on  seats/chairs to avoid staining and rubbing off the tan.

 

  • Please contact us via text if you have any questions regarding the Spray tanning process.

AFTER YOUR

SPRAY TAN

 

  • Blow dry body with cool air, you can stand under a/c vent or use a hair dryer with cool air button, until the solution is absorbed and dry.

 

  • Wear dark loose fitting clothing for at least 12 hours.

 

  • Do not work out, sweat excessively or swim for 24 hours after application.

 

  • Wear dark pants and long sleeved clothing to sleep the night after your appointment to avoid staining your sheets.

Do not use Dove brand products for the duration of your spray tan.

 

  • Do not apply anything to your skin for 24 hours after application including moisturizer and perfume.

 

  • After 24 hours, moisturize every day with a natural moisturizer, preferably alcohol free.

 

  • Pat dry skin, do not rub skin with towel.

 

  • Do not shave or wax for at least 48 hours.

 

  • Do not get a manicure or pedicure on the days following your tan because your tan will most likely come off completely in those areas, opt for a polish change instead.

 

  • For premium express tan use cool Water only on your first shower. Do not use soap or other products. 

 

  • For premium tan you may use soap  on your first shower if the tan has reached the darkness you expect. You must apply the soap evenly to avoid streaking!!!  We recommend a light clear shower gel sls free, non creamy, and non oily.

 

  •  If you wash your hair make sure you rinse the shampoo or conditioner completely and evenly from your back.
